Ronald Colby is a filmmaker and author living in Los Angeles. His latest release is 18 Golf Poems — And a Recollection at the 19th Hole, which features 18 Poems about the fickle, challenging, perplexing and whimsical game of golf.

He is currently completing a memoir, The Young Filmmakers, which chronicles the making of The Rain People, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, set against the turbulent cultural landscape of the Vietnam War era.
